About Me

 

A Eurasian baby (half Dutch, half Singaporean), I have had the privilege of growing up in a hotpot of cultures and enjoying the best of both worlds. Growing up and living in Singapore for 11 years also meant that I, like many others, developed a weak spot for Singapore's number one pastime - eating and food. Now, whenever I travel overseas or go to a new place, I find myself first extensively researching the food hotspots and convincing whoever is accompanying me to go try and them out. Even if they resist, I usually always find a way. Now, living in the Netherlands - where food really isn't a big deal and two out of three meals usually consists of cold sandwiches - I find myself facing some real withdrawal symptoms. So in an attempt to introduce some of my true foodie nature in the Netherlands I started this blog. Posts will be mainly concentrated on spots in Rotterdam as well as Singapore, where I spend most of my holidays. I love to bake and cook and experiment with new things. I often ask people to challenge me with something new to make, or ask them for their cravings to be inspired by. I think it's pretty obvious that I have a slight food obsession and this blog embraces that completely. So check out my reviews and hope you find them useful. Enjoy!
